The Audio-Technica AT2005USB is a handheld dynamic microphone with both a USB digital output and an XLR analog output. The USB output connects to your computer for digital recording, while the XLR output connects to a sound system’s conventional microphone input. It has a smooth, extended frequency response ideally suited for podcasting, home studio recording, field recording, voiceover, and on-stage use. The built-in headphone jack allows you to directly monitor the sound from your microphone for zero latency monitoring, and you can adjust the headphone volume from the bottom of the mic. The cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of unwanted sounds. Also included is a tripod desk stand with folding legs and USB and XLR cables.
